Group Classes - 5 Weeks
Very young puppies are like information sponges. The experiences of leaving the litter and their first few weeks living with their new family will shape their whole lives.
Class sizes are small so that each owner and each pup can have one on one time with Adam and training can move at the dog’s pace.
In this 5-week long foundation puppy-training course, we look at essential puppy life skills such as
  • House Training
  • Home Alone
  • Curbing Nipping
  • Handling Exercises
  • Excessive Barking
  • Settling Down
  • Attention
  • Sit Down Stand
  • Come when called
  • Jumping up
  • Socialisation
  • Lead Manners
  • Fundamentals of self control

FAQs

Whats the best way to find out more info about puppy classes?  How does the Hybrid of online and in person work? 
  • Monday morning you get a new video, Thursdays 7pm is the online Q&A, then a Sunday morning in person session
Whats in the puppy pack?
  • The most important thing in the pack is the 'Puppy Playbook' then we throw in some of our favourite treats, chews and an enrichment toy
Why are your classes more expensive than most?
  • Put simply, you get more. You get a better expereince, more help, more support, expert trainers and you end up with a beter puppy.
How many puppies per class?
  • Groups are kept small and are 5 or 6 puppies max per class
Wat time are the classes on Sundays?
  • We have classes starting from 8.45, 9.45 & 10.45am. We allow people to choosse a timeslot after they have booked and during the first online class

Ive done a number of puppy training classes over the years, but Adam and Stella have a whole different approach and it works so well. It is structured to tackle genuine issues you'll find when raising a puppy. There is a group you'll join where you can any questions about your puppy and you'll always get a response. This is more than just 'Puppy Class', I would recommend this to everyone!

Delders Dogs run the most amazing puppy classes that has built our confidence and our puppy has adored. For example, we have just started taking her out for her first walks and we wouldn’t have been brave enough to let her off lead on her first walk without the encouragement and structured training that supported this. She absolutely loved being off lead and was so good with recall. The discovery call with Adam was very useful and he encouraged us to sign up for classes for our puppy when she was just 8 weeks old. At the time, I thought she would be too young but Adam knows best! She has learnt such a lot from the training. But more importantly we have learnt how to help her with a range of skills. All the training is clearly explained and demonstrated and the purpose for each activity is made clear. We are encouraged and supported all the way so that we feel we can do this, unlike our previous experience of puppy classes with a different trainer. The combination of online, including Facebook group, face to face as well as being able to ask questions at any time has been brilliant. Both Adam and Stella are very knowledgeable. We have loved every minute and are looking forward to the next step with Puppy Progression classes. I have no hesitation in recommending Delders Dogs puppy classes to anyone with a new puppy.

Delders Dogs have been brilliantly with us and our Basset Hound, Hank.
Adam, Stella and Grace have always been so approachable and you never feel you are asking any 'stupid' questions.
