Adventure Hound Ltd - Adventure Hounds MK
Effective Date: [7th April 2025]
Adventure Hound Ltd ("we," "our," or "us") aims to provide a fun and safe environment at our fields. By using our facilities, you agree to the following Terms of Use.
1. Assumption of Risk
Use of the fields is entirely at your own risk. Adventure Hound Ltd accepts no liability for the death or injury of any person or dog, or for damage to any property. We also accept no liability for any losses, claims, actions, damages, costs, expenses, or other liabilities incurred while onsite. Vehicles and their contents are left at the owner's risk. Your behavior and that of your dogs are your sole responsibility, and no claims can be made against Adventure Hound Ltd.
2. Liability for Damages
You are liable for any damage caused inside and outside of the fields by you, your dog(s), or any person in your party. All dogs must be covered under their own third-party insurance (public liability insurance), which is typically included in pet insurance policies.
3. Noise Considerations
Our fields are located in a semi-rural setting in close proximity to neighboring residents. Please minimize noise disturbances and be mindful of the local community. Restrict your dogs' barking as much as possible, and ensure that adults and children also avoid being overly vocal or excitable.
4. Purpose of Use
The fields are intended solely for dog exercise and are not recreational areas for other activities. They may not be suitable for all dogs due to the proximity of livestock, sounds from neighboring farm dogs, gunshots, and bird scarers. Please assess the suitability for your own dog. While we make every effort to maintain the fields, please note that they may be muddy, the ground uneven, and there may be brambles and thorns, as is common in rural settings. Users must inspect the fields to ensure they are suitable for their dog(s), including fence height and other conditions.
5. Registration and Vaccinations
Each visitor using the fields must have registered and provided proof of vaccinations for their dogs. Registration is for a single household only. Friends or family from another household who wish to use the fields must also register separately.
As part of registration, you must read the registration email in full and watch the Video Introduction provided, which details our Terms of Use and procedures for arrival and departure. You must confirm that you fully understand all information provided.
6. Arrival and Departure Procedures
Wait in Your Vehicle: If you arrive early, please wait in your vehicle in the designated waiting areas, ensuring the outer gate is left clear. The previous session will vacate the car park and is expected to lock the gate behind them before leaving, even if someone is waiting for the next session. This ensures that only authorized individuals with the code can gain access.
Parking: Park your vehicle inside the main gate during your allocated session time in the onsite car park.
Entering the Field: Once the previous appointment has left, you may enter the car park. Ensure the outer gate is shut and padlocked before taking your dogs out of the vehicle. For Field 1, keep your dog on a lead until you are in the enclosed field and the internal gate is closed behind you. For Field 2, once the main gate is closed and locked upon entry, dogs can be allowed out of your vehicle straight into the field.
Late Departures: If the previous appointment is still in the field when your booking starts, please inform us immediately. Never enter the enclosed field while someone else is in it. There is a padlock to lock yourself in to prevent anyone from entering during your session.
Locking Up: Upon leaving, please always lock both gates to the field and car park (for Field 1) and the main gate (for Field 2), even if someone is waiting to come in. This ensures that only authorized users can access the facility. Never divulge your passcode to anyone.
7. Field Rules
Clean Up After Your Dog: Pick up all dog waste. Failure to do so may result in refusal of future use. Please bring your own poo bags and dispose of waste in the designated bins provided. Note that these bins are for dog waste only; all other waste, including damaged toys, should be taken with you.
Leash Requirements: Do not exercise your dog outside the secure field areas. Dogs must be kept on leads until safely inside the secure field boundary of Field 1. In Field 2, dogs can be allowed out of the car once the main gate is closed and locked.
Gate Closure: Ensure the field gate is closed immediately upon entering and leaving the field.
Equipment Use: The enrichment and play equipment are designed for canine use only. Before using the facility or the equipment, consult your vet to ensure that dogs are physically fit and strong enough to perform activities. Do not use equipment in wet or icy conditions, as surfaces become slippery. Allow dogs to explore equipment freely and at their own pace; never force them to engage with equipment.
8. Health and Welfare
Dogs must be up-to-date with vaccinations or titer tested and regularly treated for flea, tick, and worm prevention. If titer testing, the leptospirosis vaccination is still required. Proof of vaccinations or titer tests must be provided as part of initial registration.
Do not bring your dog to the fields if they or any other pets in your household have been unwell in the last 48 hours, as this could be harmful to other dogs.
All sessions must comply with Adventure Hound Ltd's reward-based training values. We reserve the right to cancel or end any session that does not comply. Choke chains, prong collars, and electronic devices are not allowed. Harsh handling of dogs, either verbal or physical, is not permitted.
Never leave dogs unattended in the fields, and no dogs should be left in vehicles while you walk other dogs in the field.
9. Professionals
To ensure safety and security standards, dog trainers working with their clients will only be allowed by prior arrangement.
10. Cancellations and Amendments
Late Arrivals: No extension is allowed for late arrival to the field.
No-Shows: No refunds are given for no-shows to session bookings.
Cancellations and Amendments: Must be made 24 hours in advance of the scheduled booking to qualify for a refund. A [£5] admin charge is applicable for all cancellations.
We reserve the right to close the fields at any time, for which a full refund will be given. Cancellation will be notified to the field user/booker.
11. Privacy

Your name is needed to track payments, and your email address is needed to send you the gate access code. If you opt in to receive news updates from us, you have the option to opt out at any time.
